At the end of April, I’ll be attending the Gambero Rosso International Vini d’Italia tour and I’m trying to be cool about it but holy vines, I’ll be talking to some of my favorite Italian winemakers and tasting what they’re excited to share. It’s a good excuse to spend a couple of days in sunny Miami before heading over to the UK where I’ll be celebrating my daughter’s 20th birthday. She gets a trip every year because her mother (me) values places over possessions. Last year we enjoyed rooftop dining and a Hollywood film fest in LA. This year…London calling. But first things first – the Italian wines. Expect a full report. And probably an effusive list of recommendations. Saluti.
